July 12 – Catherine Bellino  History of Emmons Farms & Gardens 
Cathy has lived at Emmons Farms for over 30 years and has continued their long history of gardens. She will discuss the past and present day history of Emmons Farms' gardens, and share the book she created about her gardens.

July 19 - Landin Van Buren, Joe Rizzo  & Judy Johnson MacLachlan  Oneonta's Little Grocery Stores
Come and join this lively group discussion about the little grocery stores that were here long before the supermarkets… by those that lived it. Share your own memories with the group.

July 26 – Al Bullard  "Hop” To It!  
Once an important industry in this area in the 19 th century, Al will lead a discussion, show his slides, and share some hops- related artifacts. Check out our effort to grow hops!

August 2 Lynn Bissell - $$$$$$$ 
A subject that interests us all! Come hear about what Lynn has to share about the history of MONEY!

August 9 - Ellie Stromberg Goin' to “Pot”!
Ellie has been a potter for 35 years and co-runs the Artisans Guild. Join us as she displays her work and chats about her “functional stoneware pottery”.  Compare it to our S-W collection of old stoneware.

August 16 - Mark Simonson  Old Oneonta Schools 
Did you attend any of the old Oneonta schools: Plains, River Street, Mitchell Street, East End, Chestnut Street,  or Center Street Schools? Bring your ephemera and memories to share with Mark and our other guests!

August 23 - Theresa O'Brien  Felting 
Learn the how-tos about “felting” from a local expert. Maybe this will be your next craft adventure.  Bring any felted items you have to share.

August 30 - Ernie Malke  The Old Trolleys of Oneonta
Do you remember when there were trolley cars in town? Did you ever see the tracks down Main or Chestnut Streets? Join us as Ernie brings back those memories.

All events are free and open to the public Light refreshments will be served and informal tours  will be given.    Contact Tina Morris (607 432-0665)  for further information or directions.

The Swart-Wilcox House Museum is located on Wilcox Avenue next to Riverside School.  It can be reached by turning off River Street across from the Boys and Girls Club on to Wilcox Ave.
